AI tutor for Iran's Konkur: the 1xAi learning panel
1xAi's learning panel (1xai.ir/learn) is an AI tutor built on Iran's official school textbooks for grades 7 to 12 and on official Sanjesh Konkur questions. It answers from 91 textbooks and shows the page each answer comes from; it has 1,184 past Konkur questions from the Experimental Sciences group (1398 to 1405) with Sanjesh's answer keys and worked solutions; and it offers a free diagnostic test, a free mock exam every Friday, step-by-step solutions from a photo of a problem, and a study planner. It is in Persian, right to left, on the web, installs on an Android phone as a web app, and works from Iran without a VPN. It is one option among several: Zerang has an AI counsellor that reads report cards, Andarz adds human answerers, and ChatGPT and Gemini are general assistants that are not built around Iran's textbooks.
1xAi wrote this page, so it is not neutral. Every claim about another product names the public page it came from and the day it was read, and every product, 1xAi included, gets a line on where it is better.
What the learning panel does
From 1xAi's code and production database, read on 28 October 2026. Every page of the panel needs a signed-in account with a completed profile.
- Textbooks
- 91 official textbooks for grades 7 to 12, the 1405-1406 edition the Ministry of Education publishes at chap.sch.ir: 12,793 pages, every one searchable. For grades 10 to 12 they cover the Experimental Sciences, Mathematics and Humanities tracks; there are no Art or Foreign Languages books yet.
- Answers from the book
- «Ask the book» writes an answer only from the textbook text and shows, next to each of its sentences, the page and the textbook sentence it rests on, quoted word for word. When the books do not cover a question, it says the topic was not found in the textbooks and writes no answer.
- Past Konkur questions
- 1,184 official questions from 11 sittings of the Experimental Sciences (Tajrobi) Konkur, 1398 to 1405 (2019 to 2026), in biology, physics, chemistry, mathematics and geology. The key of each is Sanjesh's official key; the worked solution, why each wrong option is wrong and the hints are written by 1xAi's AI from that key and the textbook. The Mathematics group so far has some questions from its two 1402 sittings, and the Humanities group none. The Tajrobi papers are free to read, without signing up, at 1xai.ir/konkoor/soalat (Persian).
- Practice bank
- More than 3,700 multiple-choice questions, each with a worked solution and three graded hints. More than 2,500 of them are written by AI, labelled as such, and shown only when two solvers from different model families reach the same answer key. Answers given with the tutor's help are marked, and only unassisted answers count toward mastery.
- Diagnostic test
- A placement test of about 15 minutes for grades 10 to 12, timed at the Konkur's pace with negative marking. It reports each subject's percentage and an estimated score range (always a range, never a rank), names the three weakest chapters and lays out a two-week plan. It calls no AI model and is free.
- Friday mock exam
- Free every Friday from 08:00 to 22:00 Tehran time, with a national leaderboard: a version for the Konkur of each group, for the grade 12 final exams and for grades 10 and 11. The Tajrobi Konkur version is 60 specialist questions in 70 minutes. It began on 23 October 2026 (1 Aban 1405) and has few participants so far.
- Photo-solve
- Photograph a textbook or Konkur problem, or type it, and get a step-by-step solution in Persian that cites the textbook pages it uses. A model from another family solves the same problem without seeing the other's answer; when the two disagree, both are shown and the student is asked to check. 3 a day on the free plan, 20 on the entry-level paid plans.
- Study planner
- Give it the exam date, the minutes you have each day and your rest days, or start from a preset (class, term, final exam, Konkur). It lays out each day, reschedules work you miss, and keeps the last days for review and mock exams.
- Written answers graded
- Print a written exam, answer it by hand and photograph up to 10 pages: the AI reads the handwriting, grades each answer against a marking scheme and gives feedback in Persian. 1 a week on the free plan.
- Price
- Free, with no AI quota: 200 practice answers a day, the past Konkur questions, chapter tests, the Friday mock, spaced review, lessons, streaks and leagues. The AI features have a free daily allowance (for example 5 «ask the book» questions, 10 tutor messages and 3 photo-solves a day) and are billed to the account's plan credit; they are never unlimited. Paid plans start at 299,000 toman a month.
- Language and access
- Persian, right to left, on the web; it installs on an Android phone's home screen as a web app. There is no app in Cafe Bazaar, Myket or Google Play yet. It is reached from Iranian networks without a VPN and is paid in toman through Iranian payment gateways.
The Konkur, reduced to its basics
For readers outside Iran, the essentials only: quotas, regional ranks and the choice of university and major are left out, and Sanjesh's official registration booklet is the final word.
What it is
The Konkur («کنکور», also written Konkoor or Concours) is Iran's national university entrance exam. It is run by Sanjesh («سازمان سنجش آموزش کشور»), the national testing organisation, and is written on the official school textbooks of grades 10 to 12.

Five groups
Candidates sit it in one group: Experimental Sciences (Tajrobi), Mathematics and Physics (Riazi), Humanities (Ensani), Art (Honar) or Foreign Languages (Zaban).
The school record counts more than the test
In the Experimental Sciences, Mathematics and Humanities groups, the school record (the national final exams of grades 11 and 12) is 60% of the total and the test 40%. In Art and Foreign Languages the record is 30%.

What the test asks
Only the group's specialist subjects; the general subjects (Persian literature, Arabic, religious studies and English) count through the school record. For Tajrobi in 1406 the subject weights are biology 12, chemistry 9, physics 7, mathematics 7 and geology 1.

How it is marked
Multiple choice with four options and negative marking: three wrong answers cancel one right one, so a blind guess gains nothing on average.
Years and dates
Years follow the Iranian solar calendar. The 1405 Konkur was held in 2026; the 1406 Konkur falls in the Iranian year that begins on 21 March 2027. A 1405 result is not valid for 1406, so repeat candidates sit it again. Sanjesh had not announced the 1406 dates when this was checked.

Five study AIs, ten criteria
Every competitor cell comes from that product's own public page (its site or its Cafe Bazaar listing) or a press report, linked under the cell and read on 26 October 2026. We did not buy the paid versions or test answer quality: this compares features and published prices. 1xAi's column is its own code and database.

General assistants are strong at explaining concepts and working through problems. If you use one for school, ask it which chapter of the textbook its answer is in, and check that page yourself. 1xAi's own Persian chat offers GPT, Claude and Gemini models, paid in toman; for school work, the learning panel ties the answer to the textbook instead.

Next to an institute, not instead of one. The institutes sell classes, teachers, books and a ranking with a large field, which none of the apps here has; their yearly prices (read on 26 October 2026) only show where daily practice is expensive and where it is not.

Where 1xAi falls short
- · No counsellor, human or AI, and it does not read report cards.
- · No human answerers and no video classes.
- · Official Konkur questions cover the Experimental Sciences group's specialist subjects; the Mathematics group has only some of its 1402 papers so far, and the Humanities group none.

- · Everything is in Persian, and the panel needs an Iranian mobile number and national ID.
What is the best AI tutor for Iranian Konkur students?
It depends on what the student needs. For practice on official Konkur questions with answers tied to the textbook page, 1xAi's learning panel; for an AI counsellor that reads report cards and follows up daily, Zerang; for quick photo solutions with no cap on questions, DarsGPT; for a person who checks the answer, Andarz. ChatGPT and Gemini explain well but are not built around Iran's textbooks. None of them replaces an institute's classes and nationwide ranking.
What does 1xAi's learning panel cover?
91 official textbooks for grades 7 to 12 (Experimental Sciences, Mathematics and Humanities tracks), answers from those books with the page cited, 1,184 official Sanjesh questions from the Experimental Sciences Konkur 1398 to 1405 with Sanjesh's keys and worked solutions, more than 3,700 practice questions, a free diagnostic test, a free mock exam every Friday, photo-solve, written answers graded from a photo, spaced review and a study planner.
Is it free?
The core is: 200 practice answers a day, the past Konkur questions, the Friday mock, the diagnostic, spaced review, lessons and leagues. The AI features have a free daily allowance, for example 5 «ask the book» questions, 10 tutor messages and 3 photo-solves a day, and are billed to the account's plan credit. Paid plans, from 299,000 toman a month, raise the allowances; nothing is unlimited.
Which official Konkur questions does it have?
1,184 questions from 11 sittings of the Experimental Sciences (Tajrobi) Konkur, 1398 to 1405, in biology, physics, chemistry, mathematics and geology, with Sanjesh's official keys; 1xAi's AI writes the worked solutions from those keys and the textbook. The Mathematics group so far has some questions from its two 1402 sittings; the Humanities group and the general subjects have none. The Tajrobi papers can be read free, without signing up, at 1xai.ir/konkoor/soalat.
Is it in English?
No. The panel is in Persian, right to left, like the textbooks and the Konkur itself. This page only describes it in English.
Can students outside Iran use it?
The past-paper and sample-question pages are open to anyone. The learning panel itself needs an account with a completed profile: a full name, an Iranian national ID and an Iranian mobile number. Payment is in toman through Iranian gateways.
Do students in Iran need a VPN?
No. 1xai.ir is reached from Iranian networks without a VPN, and accounts are paid in toman.
How is it different from ChatGPT or Gemini?
ChatGPT and Gemini are general assistants: strong at explanations, but they do not know this year's edition of Iran's textbooks unless you give them the text, and their answers do not cite a textbook page. Iran is also not on OpenAI's published list of supported countries or on Google's list for the Gemini web app. 1xAi's learning panel answers from the official textbooks with the page shown, and its Persian chat offers GPT, Claude and Gemini models paid in toman.
What is the Konkur?
Iran's national university entrance exam, run by Sanjesh. Candidates sit it in one of five groups; in the Experimental Sciences, Mathematics and Humanities groups the school record (grades 11 and 12 final exams) counts for 60% and the multiple-choice test, with negative marking, for 40%.
Is this comparison neutral?
No; 1xAi wrote it. That is why every claim about another product links its public source and the day it was read (26 October 2026 for the five-product table, 28 October 2026 for Konkur Plus, ChatGPT and Gemini), "not seen" means not found on that page, and every product gets a line on where it is better. Corrections are welcome through the contact page.
The textbooks are the official editions and the Konkur keys are Sanjesh's official keys; the worked solutions and the panel are 1xAi's. Corrections from any product named here are welcome on the contact page. The Persian pages: the learning panel, the comparison and the past Konkur papers.
